Dimitrios Nikolouzos joins Arabella Hospitality as Cluster General Manager in Munich

Arabella Hospitality SE is expanding its team in Munich. From 17 June 2024, Dimitrios Nikolouzos will be responsible for the Aloft Munich and Residence Inn by Marriott Munich Central hotels as Cluster General Manager.

Munich, 17 June 2024: Dimitrios Nikolouzos will join the Arabella Hospitality team from 17 June 2024 as Cluster General Manager at the two hotels Aloft Munich and Residence Inn by Marriott Munich Central. With his many years of national and international expertise in various hotels of Marriott International – Arabella Hospitality’s long-standing partner – and his extensive experience in the long-stay business market in the Bavarian capital, Dimitrios Nikolouzos will play a key role in driving the development of the two hotels. He takes over the position from Peter Sterlinger, who has managed the two hotels with great commitment and passion over the past few years.

Dimitrios Nikolouzos has been working in the hotel industry for more than 15 years and has spent his entire career in this sector. His professional career has taken him to Scotland and England, among other places, where he was able to gain experience in pre-opening in his positions as Front Desk Manager and Housekeeping Manager. After further management positions in Berlin and Frankfurt for Radisson Blu and various Marriott International hotels (including the Moxy Berlin Humboldthain Park and the AC Hotel Berlin Humboldthain Park), Dimitrios Nikolouzos moved to Munich and opened the Moxy Munich Ostbahnhof in 2019. Most recently, he was Multi Property Hotel Leader and General Manager for the two hotels Moxy München Ostbahnhof and Residence Inn Munich Ostbahnhof.

As Cluster General Manager, Dimitrios Nikolouzos is responsible for the two hotels in the Midscale (Aloft Munich) and Extended Stay (Residence Inn by Marriott Munich Central) segments with a total of 279 rooms, fitness studios and a 100 m² conference area. He succeeds Peter Sterlinger, who oversaw the opening of Arabella Hospitality’s first extended-stay hotel, the Residence Inn by Marriott Munich Central, in autumn 2023 and is now leaving Arabella Hospitality at his own request to return to his hometown of Vienna.

«We are delighted to welcome Dimitrios Nikolouzos to our team as an experienced and highly motivated colleague who is very familiar with both the Marriott International brand philosophy and the long-stay segment. At the same time, we would like to thank Peter Sterlinger for his outstanding achievements and wish him all the best for the future in his home city of Vienna,» says Karl-Heinz Pawlizki, CEO of Arabella Hospitality.

«I am looking forward to the challenges and tasks as the new Cluster General Manager. The extended-stay hotel segment is particularly exciting and I am delighted to be able to contribute my specific experience in this area, especially in Munich,» adds Dimitrios Nikolouzos.
