Palma de Mallorca, January 15, 2024: Thomas Bechtold has filled the position of Complex General Manager at the Castillo Hotel Son Vida, The Luxury Collection, and Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel, operated by Arabella Hospitality España, since December 22, 2023. In his role, he will be responsible for the two 5-star hotels, which are located just ten minutes from the center of Palma de Mallorca and in the immediate vicinity of the renowned Arabella golf courses Son Vida, Son Muntaner and Son Quint.

Thomas Bechtold is no stranger to the two Arabella Hospitality España hotels: in 2001, the 47-year-old native of Madrid began his hotel career as Front Office Assistant Manager at the former ArabellaSheraton Golf Hotel and later worked in sales at the traditional Castillo Hotel Son Vida. He is therefore very familiar with the local conditions.

Over the past five years, Thomas Bechtold has held the position of Hotel Director at the Hotel Riva on Lake Constance, a 5-star superior hotel, where he was responsible for the entire operational business, sales and marketing as well as quality management. Prior to this, he held various positions in the sales department, including at the Westin Real de Faula Golf Resort & Spa on the Spanish Costa Blanca and the Castillo Hotel Son Vida on Mallorca. Bechtold then moved to Switzerland for eight years, initially as Sales Director and later as Rooms Division Director and Hotel Manager for the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. For two years, he held the position of General Manager at the Hermitage Resort & Spa in Andorra, a Leading Hotel of the World. His professional journey then took him to the Hotel Riva on Lake Constance.
