ANDREAS PADE takes over as Managing Director of the iconic Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, which has already become an internationally award-winning destination since its reopening in summer 2024

Rosewood Schloss Fuschl masterfully combines the historic charm of the Austrian Alps with modern luxury. Austria has always been a dream destination for Andreas Pade – a place that fascinates with its impressive diversity of majestic mountains, rich culture, hospitality, and lively traditions. For him, it is a special honor and responsibility to successfully lead the traditional and legendary Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, this unique place where history and modernity meet, into the future.

As a Dane, Andreas Pade combines Scandinavian values such as authenticity and down-to-earthness with a striving for perfection. As half-Swiss, he has a deep connection to mountains, lakes, and their people – and speaks German fluently in addition to four other languages.

“Since my childhood, I have felt a deep connection to German-speaking countries – shaped by unforgettable summers spent with my family in Switzerland. I particularly appreciate small, close-knit communities where family values are central and neighbors are not strangers. My passion for nature, hiking in the mountains, by lakes and through forests, finds perfect expression in Austria. The rich cultural diversity and heritage of this country provide a wonderful foundation for inspiring stories and a hotel concept that gives guests a deep sense of connection and authenticity. It is a great pleasure and honor for me to enrich the tradition and history of Rosewood Schloss Fuschl with new ideas and to give our guests unforgettable experiences,” says Andreas Pade, who will shape the future of this extraordinary hotel with his experience and vision.

A renowned leader in the luxury hotel industry, Andreas Pade brings more than two decades of international experience from first-class destinations in Europe, the Caribbean, and North America. One of the milestones of his career was successfully managing the reopening of Rosewood Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands, which repositioned itself as an award-winning destination. With positions at prestigious establishments such as the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and the Grace Bay Club, he has already made a lasting impact on the industry.

Maximilian Deickert is also new to the position of Hotel Manager at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl, with a special focus on food and beverage. With over 20 years of experience in the luxury hotel industry, he most recently served as resort manager at Aman Hotels & Resorts in the Philippines. With his extensive expertise in designing and implementing first-class dining experiences, he joins the management team alongside Andreas Pade, the new managing director of , and will further develop the culinary excellence and operational processes of the hotel.

Rosewood Schloss Fuschl is also known for its exceptional internationality: around 180 employees from over 40 nations, who communicate in more than ten languages, create an atmosphere of international excellence and warm hospitality. For Andreas Pade, this diversity is one of the hotel’s greatest strengths. Shortly after opening, Schloss Fuschl was awarded 3 Michelin keys and has delighted guests from the DACH region, the USA, and the United Kingdom.
