Arabella Hospitality SE appoints Franz Margraf as the new General Manager at Arabella Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Munich, November 21, 2024: Arabella Hospitality SE, which operates the traditional Alpenhotel under the Marriott brand Tribute Portfolio, announces the appointment of Franz Margraf as the new General Manager of the Arabella Alpenhotel am Spitzingsee, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Part of the Arabella Hospitality portfolio for more than 50 years, the vacation resort in the Oberland region uniquely combines tradition and innovation. Under the leadership of the future-oriented hotel manager, the continuous modernization of the hotel will continue. In his new role, he will report directly to Paul Peters as Vice President Operations. Franz Margraf succeeds Christoph Seitz, who has held the role of General Manager since 2022.
Franz Margraf not only brings with him in-depth specialist knowledge and management experience, but also a lifelong connection to the hotel industry. Growing up in a family of hoteliers in Bad Füssing, he gained experience at an early age in his parents’ Kurhotel Zink.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Vienna, Franz Margraf began his professional career at the Bayerischer Hof in Munich as a Rooms Division Trainee and then worked as Cluster Sales Representative Germany South & Switzerland for 15 hotels at Leonardo Hotels. After completing his Master’s degree with a focus on Consumer Behavior & Strategic Marketing, he was General Manager of the Dorint Marc Aurel Resort in Bad Gögging from 2022 until recently.
