Arabella Hospitality appoints new management team for the Aloft Stuttgart

Arabella Hospitality SE is filling the new management team of the Aloft Stuttgart with the hotel’s own expertise: Alexandra Schmidt, who has been with Arabella Hospitality for over ten years, will be the new Hotel Manager and Tino Lindner will take on the position of the new Complex General Manager in addition to his role as General Manager of The Westin Grand Frankfurt.

Munich, 6 March 2024: Arabella Hospitality SE appoints a new management team for the Aloft Stuttgart, a midscale hotel in the heart of Stuttgart and part of the Arabella Hospitality portfolio. Alexandra Schmidt will take over as Hotel Manager of the Aloft Stuttgart from 26 February 2024. She succeeds Andrea Emmerling, who has held the position of General Manager since 2022 and is leaving the company to pursue new challenges. Tino Lindner will expand his area of responsibility in the future and, in addition to his role as General Manager of The Westin Grand Frankfurt, will also accompany the Aloft Stuttgart as the new Complex General Manager.

Alexandra Schmidt can look back on a successful career development at Arabella Hospitality: she began her training at The Westin Grand Munich and the Four Points by Sheraton Munich Arabellapark in 2010 and has now been with the company for over ten years. After holding various positions at the two hotels, she most recently spent five years as Complex Rooms Operation Manager at The Westin Grand Munich and the Four Points by Sheraton Munich Arabellapark, where she led a team of 35 people. As Hotel Manager of the Aloft Stuttgart, she will be in charge of all hotel operations and responsible for the long-term development, strategy and personnel planning of the hotel.

Tino Lindner brings with him 25 years of international experience in management positions and extensive expertise in the luxury hotel industry. He is very familiar with the Marriott International brand portfolio and has worked in numerous countries on three continents in hotels under the Le Méridien, Sheraton, W Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott brands. In addition to various positions as Hotel Manager and General Manager – including in Thailand, Great Britain, St. Petersburg and Bucharest – he worked as Hotel Manager at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel in Germany for three years from 2012 and managed various renovation and repositioning projects. Since 2023, Tino Lindner has been responsible for The Westin Grand Frankfurt as General Manager and is now expanding his role as Complex General Manager of Aloft Stuttgart.

‘We are delighted to be able to fill such important positions with long-standing employees. Alexandra Schmidt has internalised the DNA of Arabella Hospitality and is fully committed to creating a positive guest experience. We are also delighted that Tino Lindner has expanded his area of responsibility and will continue to drive the success of the Aloft Stuttgart together with Alexandra Schmidt. We would like to thank Andrea Emmerling for her great support over the past two years and wish her all the best for her future plans,’ said Paul Peters, Vice President Operations at Arabella Hospitality.

‘I am very much looking forward to my new role and to being able to contribute and further develop the experience and knowledge I have gained at Arabella Hospitality. I would like to show that the path to the top is open and inspire young talents in the hotel industry in particular,’ explains Alexandra Schmidt.

‘My great wish is to continue to develop the Aloft Stuttgart together with my team and Alexandra and to play my part in the success and long-term guest satisfaction at the Aloft Stuttgart,’ explains Tino Lindner.
